TECHNIKAL FT. MC WHIZZKID - MUSIC FOR A HARDER GENERATION Technikal Recordings This is my signature track for Andy Whitby's mix on the new Music For A Harder Generation album from Tidy. I called in the vocal talents of MC Whizzkid (well known for his years of dedication to the hardcore scene) to really give it an edge. I tried to throw everything I've learnt from all genres into this record and it's definately pretty manic! TECHNIKAL VS MDA & SPHERICAL - BACK 2 THE SUPERSONIC CD-R This is a cheeky little edit I made to play out. It's Supersonic married to the vocals and piano riffs of Back 2 The Old Skool... clearly confuses people when I drop it! Haha! STEVE HILL vs TECHNIKAL - SAWTOOTH DENTIST Masif This is mine and Steve's official follow up to Impulz, done in a similar vein. Huge twisting synths turn into the bassline, and the breakdown is a lush journey through trance arpeggios climaxing with an almighty sawtooth riff. HYPERLOGIC - U GOT THE LOVE (STEVE HILL VS TECHNIKAL REMIX) Tidy Mine and Steve's take on the almighty The Source classic 'You Got The Love' for a new project on Tidy Trax. Big offbeat basslines and UK riffs! SCOTT BROWN - ROCK YOU SOFTLY (TECHNIKAL REMIX) CD-R 'Rock You Softly' is one of my favourite hardcore tracks of all time, with it's beautiful vocal breakdown. Here I rework it into a UK hard trancer. TECHNIKAL vs THE LOST BOYS - MASS EFFECT (IRIDIUM REMIX) Technikal Recordings The latest release on Technikal Recordings is a real classic sounding hard trancer, and Iridium has really come up trumps with this tour-de-force of a remix. Taking the musical ideas from our mix and giving it a real UK re-rub he's come up with something totally different but still keeping in line with our version. Definately a guy to keep your eye on. BKAY & KAZZ - YOU KNOW IT'S RIGHT (STARSEARCHER REMIX) Riot Recordings Vinylgroover sent me this one over the other day and it's a blinding bit of hard dance with really a really decent vocal element. Not 100% sure who put it together although I'm 99% sure Scott (Vinylgroover) was involved, possibly BK as well going by the artist name? Anyways, check this one out as I think it'll be big. STEVE HILL & TECHNIKAL - ARE YOU READY Masif This is our newest german-influenced record we've done. Simple but effective, does the damage! AFTERSHOK - EXTRAORDINARY Outbreak Digital Dave finished this one and played it to me on our way to a gig at Polysexual, suffice to say I was pretty much blown away by it and played it that night at the gig to a massive reception... even Rodi Style was asking after it! Definately one of Aftershok's most powerful and well produced records yet.
